The Buttercup Cap is the first newsgirl hat that I designed when I began my adventure here on Etsy. Even after a decade of designing, this style continues to be a family favorite. I hope you like it as much as my girls do!

The pattern is written in American English using US Standard Crochet Terms.

- 240 yards medium worsted weight size 4 yarn. Lily Sugar n' Cream in Navy is pictured. Peaches and Creme, and Bernat DeLux Cotton are also nice choices for this hat.
- US I / 5.50 mm crochet hook
- yarn needle
